• Scan all photos in color (even black and white images).
• Save as high quality jpeg format. Scan at 300 - 600 dpi (dot per inch).
• Do not make any adjustments (brightness/contrast etc..) to the photos during or after scanning.
• If you don't have a scanner you could go to a copy center like Kinko's, and have them scan it for you.

• You must first scan your photos onto your hard drive or CD using a scanner, or transfer pictures from your digital camera to your computer.
• If you do not have the ability to scan the photo, you can simply take it to a Kinko's Copy Center and they will help you scan the image to CD.
• Make sure you tell them to scan it for output at 300 dpi (dots per inch) and save it to CD at a JPEG / high quality format setting.

• Just scan it at 300 dpi (dots per inch) with RGB output.
• Then save as, high quality JPEG format setting.
• You can then attach the scan to your email or place the picture on CD and mail using a postal service of your choice.

• If you are unable to obtain a good scan following the above instructions you can take your photo to a copy shop (Kinko's) and have them do it for you.
• Provide them with the instructions above and ask them to save it on a CD, in RGB format using 300dpi (dots per inch ).
• Then send the CD to us for restoration.

• In the preview window, select just the photo (no white showing around the photo).
• Choose the color photo setting (even for black and white photos).
• Turn all enhancements off.
• Set resolution quality to high photo quality, 300 or 600 DPI.
• Save the file as a high quality JPEG or TIFF.

• Just scan your photo and put it on CD and mail us the disk with your specific instructions.
• We will restore and/or colorize the photo and mail it back to you along with the original CD.
